Progressive Skatepark is a 25,000 sq. ft. indoor climate controlled free standing facility with an adjoining 15,000 sq. ft. outdoor skate / bmx course. We are located in Canton, Georgia and are convenient to the cities of Atlanta, Marietta, Kennesaw, Woodstock, Cartersville, Cumming, Jasper, Rome, Roswell, Alpharetta, Acworth, Ball Ground, Waleska, and Holly Springs.

Caleb: Wednesday's Child

Every now and then we get to work on a cool project. We recently worked with Fox 5 News on their Wednesday's Child segment. Caleb is a ten year old who's goal is to be a pro skater. To help push him towards this goal, we decided the best thing to do would be setting him up with some pros to show him the ropes. Naturally, we set up a private skate session with him and pro skater Kris Markovich and Pete Kelley.

Kris and Pete started the morning by setting him up with with the wardrobe: shirt, pants, shoes,  hat...Caleb got it all. After that, it was the board and protective gear. Equipped with all the new stuff, Kris and Pete went on to give Caleb some instruction. Just imagine learning how to skate from Kris Markovich! Big thanks to Kris, Pete, and Fox 5 for making this happen.

Wednesday's Child - Georgia is a partnership of the Freddie Mac Foundation, WAGA Fox 5 Atlanta, and the Georgia Department of Family and Children Services Adoption Unit, formed to help families for children in foster care with special needs who are available for adoption.
