VANS WARPED TOUR MINI RAMP CONTEST
Niko skated the mini ramp contest and took 2nd! These contests normally have around 30 people show up, and just about every one of them are a lot older.
When he walked over to the Vans tent to claim him prize, the guy seemed pretty stunned when Niko walked up for 2nd place. He got $150 cash along with a few other prizes for his efforts.
Maybe next year he will be able to dethrone Blake...
TNT hosted the 2nd annual Heat Stroke Jam. If you remember Joey killed this contest last year, so everybody knew who to look for. There was a lot of competition, but in the end, the reigning champ kept his title. Congrats to Joey on a 2nd straight win.
Found Skatepark in Ellijay hosted a contest at the end of July...
Local Montana Robinson has been on a tear the last few months and walked away with 1st place in beginner. Blue Wilson took 2nd in intermediate. Grant Stavas had 3rd in intermediate. And Mikey Lopez took 1st in advanced.

Pretty ridiculous outcome. These kids are going to be a force in the sponsored division of contests once they hit about 15 years old. Nobody will be able to touch them!
Shane took 4th at Tampa's Back to School Jam in the 9-12 year old division.
Tampa always has big contests with some tough competition - especially with Shane being one of the youngest kids in his division, so you have to be impressed with this finish.
If you are wondering how he manages all these high finishes at pretty well every contest, be sure to check out his LATEST VIDEO. Surely, everything will make sense after that.
I'm sure you remember aSkate clinic we held, right? Well, things are getting bigger for them....
Check out the video Transworld has on their site with Crys and the rest of aSkate in NYC.
Hotspot Skatepark held a contest October 9th. It proved to be the perfect format for Lachlan since it was designed just like the Street League contests. If you've seem him at all lately, you know he's pretty well the epitome of consistency when it comes to contests. 1st place came his way pretty easily.
2000 who competed nationwide). He wound up finishing a respectable 20th overall. Now that he's used to the outdoor (hot, dry, and elevated) course, I'm expecting a top 10 for next year!
Fletcher went back to Montreal, Canada for a 2nd time for the Am Getting Paid contest. Again, it was an amazing turnout. There were about 100 skaters in the comp from all over the world. As you can imagine there was a lot of qualifying involved. Fletcher managed to enter the semi-finals sitting comfortably in 10th. But after it was all said and done, he found himself in 22nd overall. Pretty crazy nonetheless. CLICK HERE for more coverage.
Fletcher went to Salt Lake for the Gatorade Free Flow Tour Finals. There were a total of 30 finalists there (out of the over

David went back to Holland for a 2nd time with Rollerblade for the Mind the Gap Contest. If you remember, he took first in this contest last year and was looking for the repeat...unfortunately, the weather wouldn't allow.
The contest got postponed until after David's return date. While he was there, though, he did get to put on a little demo with the rest of the team. If I had to be, I'd say even without the contest, it had to be a pretty good time.
The Ledger did a story on us regarding the Skaters Saving Second Base Fund Raiser. And I got to say - they did a great job with it. Click HERE to check it out.
Bangers for Bucks is coming up soon. But since we took first last year, that means we automatically qualify for the finals. For that reason, we sent the grom team to Eastern Skate Supply for a qualifier just to see how they compared....
At an average age of 11, Shanewreck, Lachlan, Niko, William, and Caleb took 10th place out of 19 teams. Beating out teams twice their age, the groms were incredibly close to making it to the final round. All I know is Bangers for Bucks 2015 is going to be something else...
Joey took off for a couple of days with his new sponsor Siege Audio and some of the Ergo boys for a paint-and-skate session at FreeRide Skateshop and Possum Creek Skatepark.
Click HERE to check it out.
Oh, watch the video to the right and check out the like 18 foot gap that Joey and Kris ollie.
Shane and Joey went up to Greenville, SC to skate the Monster Energy Beast of the Streets contest at No Name.
Shanewreck took 1st place in Intermediate, and Joey took 1st place in Advanced. With the wins, both are now qualified for the finals in Charlotte, NC to be held in mid November.
Greyson made a stop at the Skate Rock contest at Woodward on November 6th. He represented Progressive well by walking away with a 1st place win.
And to make things better, right after the contest, he got to go live on air for a radio broadcast! Looks to me that he is taking to the mic just fine.
I can't say I'm surprised by the win, though. Greyson has been on a learning curve like nobody's business. Each time I see him, he's like a new person. Remember when you we somebody if you could feeble a rail as a 15 year old? Yeah, those days are gone.
Found Skatepark had yet another contest, and here is how it went down. Intermediate: 3rd - Greyson, 2nd - Ben, and 1st - Harrison. Advanced: 2nd - Lach, 1st - Niko. These kids - the ones not on the grom team - are absolutely dominating the scene now. Get used to their faces - I am pretty sure you are gonna be seeing
them more and more often.
I am gonna put money on it that you will see them all on the podium at KOTG in January.
After winning their qualifiers in SC, Shane and Joey went up to Charlotte, NC this weekend for the finals of the Monster Energy Beast of the Street contest.
Monster built a little skatepark in the middle of downtown Charlotte and there was a great crowd that gathered to watch the event. Shanewreck took 1st place in his division bringing home $500 cash! Joey
took 3rd place in his division and brought home $300 cash! Monster Energy gave out $3000 cash at this event and Shane and Joey took home more than 25% of it...overall, not too bad.

This is kind of cool I thought....
Shanes' little cousin Logan Mayer lives down near Boynton Beach, FL where the West Boynton Skatefest Jam 2010 was held. He entered beginner representing Progressive. When it was all said and done, he found himself sitting in 3rd! For his efforts he walked away with a pretty big trophy, a new deck, and some other schwag.
Was anyone else there from Progressive that I don’t know about?
The Progressive crew went up to Hazard this past to skate the Element Make it Count 2011 International Event Series...and they had an impressive showing. Everyone skated awesome....walked away with some nice prizes!
In the 13 and under group; Blue, Grant, Shane, Lachlan, Niko, Montana, Justin, Greyson, Gareth, Caleb and Will all showed up.
In 14 and up/Sponsored group; Junior, Mikey, Koan, Josh, Travis, Fletcher, Cory and Catnip all showed up.

When it was all wrapped up, Travis walked away with the win...which included a trip to the Berrics.
Check out the rest HERE.
Found had yet another contest...
A lot of the team kids were at another contest, so the locals had to represent for us. It was a sweep:
Bailey - 1st, Beginner
Ben - 1st, Intermediate
Harrison - 1st, Advanced
